Buckshot the Humpback Whale
Her Story
Buckshot was named for the black round marks on her fluke. Buckshot is a fairly social whale as she has been seen in groups of three or four other whales. Most sightings of humpback whales are just one or two animals. Buckshot has been seen hanging out with Colt, the friendliest whale in the world.
The dorsal fin helps to verify the sighting and ID of an individual whale.
Buckshot’s flipper has very little black pigment.
